Job summary

UAB Medicine seeks a CRNA for anesthesia administration under an anesthesiologist, covering diverse surgical procedures and special cardio-thoracic cases. You will participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students and contribute to a leading academic medical center.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program, CRNA certification with Alabama Board of Nursing, and ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program; experience cannot substitute for education.
• CRNA specialty by the Alabama Board of Nursing is required.
• ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications are required by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests and cardio-thoracic cases.
• Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
