Job summary

UAB Medicine in Alabama is seeking a qualified CRNA to provide anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and cardio-thoracic cases. You will participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students and contribute to patient care within a leading academic medical center.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program, APN with CRNA certification by the Alabama Board, and ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
• APN with CRNA Specialty by Alabama Board of Nursing required.
• ACLS certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• PALS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests or cardio-thoracic procedures and cardiac catheterizations.
• Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
