UAB Medicine in Alabama is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests, including cardio-thoracic procedures.

The role includes participation in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students, with required APN-CRNA certification by the Alabama Board, ACLS, BLS, and PALS. Full-time position with a competitive pay range and benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program is required.
• Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
• Currently certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with CRNA Specialty by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
• ACLS certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• PALS certification required.
