UAB Medicine seeks a qualified anesthesia provider to administer anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical cases including cardio-thoracic procedures. You will participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.

Mandatory credentials include APN with CRNA specialty per Alabama Board of Nursing, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program is required.
• APN with CRNA Specialty by Alabama Board of Nursing is required.
• ACLS certification is required.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association is required.
• PALS certification by the American Heart Association is required.

Responsabilités

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests, including cardio-thoracic procedures and cardiac catheterizations.
• Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.

Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program

Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Specialty by the Alabama Board of Nursing

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association
