Job summary

UAB Medicine, Alabama’s largest and most comprehensive health system, seeks a certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical cases and cardiovascular procedures. The role includes teaching nurse anesthesia students.

Eligible candidates should hold an Accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program degree and CRNA certification by the Alabama Board of Nursing, with ACLS, BLS, and PALS credentials.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
• Current CRNA certification by the Alabama Board of Nursing is required.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests.
• Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
