Job summary

UAB Medicine in Alabama seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse procedures, including cardio-thoracic cases. You will participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.

Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program with CRNA certification; Alabama APN certification and ACLS/BLS/PALS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
• APN with CRNA Specialty certification by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical and diagnostic procedures, including cardio-thoracic cases.
• Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
