Job summary

  • Strong ability to communicate with and coordinate a broad range of stakeholders across campus.

  • Train new users on CRM functionality and maintain business process documentation.

Purpose of Position

This position serves as a technical lead for the Division of Enrollment Management and contributes to CRM success across the UTA campus. This position performs complex coordination and set up administrative and detailed work in the CRM and related technologies. Work involves assisting in the planning, configuration, implementation, development, technical support, and testing of CRM. This position will also manage and configure applications and provide consistent and ongoing functional business process support of recruitment and enrollment initiatives on campus. The position involves a high level of judgment and autonomy and requires knowledge of college enrollment policies and procedures. This position is an integral member of the enrollment management team and serves the campus community as it pertains the student enrollment and service. The position directly contributes to the achievement of enrollment goals.

Essential Functions
  • Provide development and ongoing support for stakeholders of the CRM.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and outline business needs, process maps and CRM requirements. Complete projects successfully and on-time.
  • Set up CRM functions and ensure that programs/solutions conform to division and university standards to maintain compliance and reach enrollment goals.
  • Identifies problems and analyzes causes, takes or recommends actions after evaluating alternative solutions; follow up to ensure problems are corrected.
  • Provides alternative solutions to solving problems.
  • Create reports and dashboards for use in planning and review of overall status and success measures.
  • Maintain a catalog of standard reports available and create and launch one-off reports as needed.
  • Develop, maintain, test and troubleshoot student recruitment and retention campaigns and CRM functionality.
  • Conduct weekly reviews of CRM processes to assure all functionalities and communication campaigns are running successfully.
  • Confer and collaborate with stakeholders about CRM set up, design and maintenance, software application requirements and academic and non-academic unit needs.
  • Serve as a user resource with external support teams. Train new users on CRM functionality and create and maintain business process documentation of CRM enrollment related functionality.
  • Assist with design, development and modification of CRM applications or integration. Use analytics to predict and measure outcome and consequences of a design.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and three (3) years of progressively responsible technology use, management and analysis, OR seven (7) years of an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Higher education experience working with CRM, preferably Technolutions/Slate.
  • Previous experience collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders and experience supporting CRM functionality.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Intermediate knowledge of methods and leveraging used with CRM technologies, set up, operation analysis and design.
  • Strong skill in direct development of set up and operations design for technology applications.
  • Ability to coordinate and work with a team.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical and other information to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Considerable knowledge of computing/communication networks and characteristics of CRM and affiliated technologies, preferably in higher education.
  • Ability to analyze courses of action, actively participate in planning, establish and maintain good working relationships and work independently with considerable initiative and drive.
  • Ability to contribute to the achievement of enrollment goals.
Work Schedule
  • Monday through Friday; 8:00am through 5:00pm
  • Hybrid work may be offered after probationary period expires.
  • 10% Travel.
  • Required occasional evenings or weekend hours.
Working Conditions
  • May work in all weather conditions.
  • May work around standard office conditions.
