Job summary

Career Center at Portland State University is seeking a Technical Manager and Architect to lead the CRDOC team, overseeing CRM and document management systems such as Slate and OnBase. You will manage a team of analysts, align architecture with campus needs, and ensure scalable, reliable software delivery.

The role requires hands-on technical leadership, collaboration across PSU offices, and ongoing governance of enterprise applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of comparable work experience
• Experience collaborating across a large organization to achieve shared goals and complete complex IT projects
• Proven experience building and maintaining professional working relationships
• Ability to produce accurate and reliable work within deadlines
• Demonstrated knowledge of application systems design, data modeling concepts, data analysis, and system administration
• Supervisory or leadership experience
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage short and long-term projects and maintain code/documentation
• Willingness to provide occasional evening and weekend support
• Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information per regulations
