Job summary

The Jewish Museum seeks a Database Manager to lead its database, data, and development operations. You will be the primary CRM and data resource, ensuring integrated, scalable systems aligned with organizational needs across Development, Membership, Finance, and IT.

Lead Salesforce administration, governance, and data-quality efforts during a major data systems transformation, coordinating with stakeholders and vendors to ensure successful adoption and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Proven expertise administering and optimizing Salesforce, preferably Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud.
• Strong understanding of data governance, database management, reporting, and integrations.
• Experience with fundraising data, gift processing, and financial data reconciliation.
• Ability to translate organizational needs into scalable systems and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead administration, configuration, optimization, and development of Salesforce and related data systems.
• Establish data governance standards ensuring data accuracy, security, and appropriate use.
• Oversee data hygiene, deduplication, and data-quality initiatives across systems.
• Manage gifts, memberships, campaigns, and related financial information within databases.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects and dashboards for Development, Finance, and Leadership.
