Job summary

vo2-group is seeking a Program Manager (junior to intermediate) in NYC to lead software project execution and coordinate cross-functional teams. You will drive Agile ceremonies, manage backlogs with product owners, and maintain roadmaps to ensure on-time delivery aligned with business goals.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, monitor sprint metrics, and mitigate risks while upholding quality assurance and continuous improvement across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred for seniority or specialization.
• Proven experience as Program Manager or similar in software projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead Agile and Scrum ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).
• Collaborate with Product Owners and delivery teams on backlog grooming and task prioritization.
• Maintain project roadmaps, timelines, and dependencies.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support on-time delivery.
• Ensure teams have access to required tools and resources.
• Track progress, sprint metrics, and milestones; prepare status updates for stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues proactively.
• Oversee quality assurance and promote continuous improvement.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients and partners.
• Track budget and adapt plans as needed.
