Job summary

vo2-group is seeking a Program Manager (junior to intermediate) in NYC to lead software project execution and coordinate cross-functional teams. You will drive Agile ceremonies, manage backlogs with product owners, and maintain roadmaps to ensure on-time delivery aligned with business goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in CS/Engineering or related field.

  • Proven experience as Program Manager or similar in software projects.

Program Manager (junior / intermediate)

Position Overview: Our NYC team is seeking a skilled and dedicated Program Manager to support and oversee the development and execution of software projects within our organization. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with project teams, stakeholders, and cross‑functional groups to ensure the timely and successful completion of software projects in alignment with the organization's objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Agile and Scrum practices and facilitate ceremonies (planning, stand‑ups, reviews, retrospectives).

  • In‑depth understanding of software development methodologies, technologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills.
  • Tools: Proficiency in Jira and Confluence; Salesforce familiarity is a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of Scrum, Agile, and related frameworks (Kanban, SAFe); Waterfall or hybrid exposure is beneficial.
  • Strong communication, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Agile certifications (PMP, PgMP, CSM, CSPO) are a plus.
  • Strategic thinker who is adaptable, detail‑oriented, and skilled at guiding a team.
