Job summary

800flowerscareers is seeking a Sr. Manager, CRM, Email & SMS Activation to drive revenue through strategic activation of promotional and lifecycle campaigns across Email and SMS.

You will own the activation plan, ensure flawless execution, and continuous optimization in collaboration with CRM Strategy, Loyalty, Creative, Analytics, Brand, and CRM Ops. You will oversee audience targeting, personalization, timing, and measurement, while managing governance, delivery, and learnings to feed

Qualifications

• 4-7+ years of experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing, or digital marketing with Email and SMS activation experience.
• Strong understanding of CAN-SPAM and TCPA compliance, deliverability, and customer experience.
• Proven ability to work with CRM Operations and manage cross-functional execution in a matrixed environment.
• Highly organized with strong project management skills and attention to detail.
• Data-driven mindset with ability to turn insights into performance improvements.
• Experience in eCommerce and/or retail environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own revenue delivery for Email and SMS by managing campaign readiness, execution quality, and ongoing optimization.
• Monitor channel performance and flag risks, opportunities, and actions needed to hit revenue goals.
• Partner with CRM Strategy and Analytics to identify performance drivers and optimize targeting, cadence, creative, and offers.
• Own the activation workflow for Email and SMS campaigns from intake through deployment with CRM Ops for build, QA, and send execution.
• Translate strategy into activation requirements (audience, personalization, timing, channel mix, measurement).
• Manage campaign timelines, stakeholder inputs, and approvals to ensure on-time launches and expected performance.
• Define targeting and segmentation with CRM Strategy and data teams; ensure personalization inputs are implemented.
• Maintain a customer-first view across Email and SMS to ensure cohesive, relevant communications.
• Deliver campaign performance reporting and insights across KPIs; drive structured A/B testing and optimization.
• Document and evolve activation playbooks and processes to improve speed, quality, and performance.
