Job summary

Central Power Systems & Services is seeking a Critical Power Technician to service emergency standby generators, transfer switches, and switchgear. The role supports installation, start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting in field service.

Overtime and on-call rotation are required as needed. Candidate should have generator experience, diesel and gaseous engines, and electrical distribution knowledge, with growth-oriented ambition.

Qualifications

• 2+ years with higher voltage generator maintenance (CAT, Kohler, Cummins)
• Electrical and mechanical knowledge of diesel-powered generators
• Diagnostic skills and ability to read schematics and programs

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of critical power systems installation, start-up and commissioning.
• Perform diagnostic and repair procedures on all systems including PLCs, AC/DC, and switch gears.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on electric power generation equipment including gas and diesel engines, generators, and transfer switches.
