Job summary

Trystar, headquartered in Faribault, MN, seeks an Electrical Support Engineer for Critical Power Systems to join our service team. You will act as the technical bridge between customers, installers, and Trystar, handling real-time troubleshooting and product-specific inquiries from a diverse client base.

You will work with engineering and sales colleagues to build a comprehensive knowledge base, support library, and efficient ticket workflows, while occasionally traveling to job sites to ensure

Qualifications

• BS Electrical Engineering, specialization in Power Engineering.
• 5–10+ years in power generation/critical power engineering or support for generators, renewable energy, inverters, storage systems.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and UL standards (NFPA 110, NFPA 70/NEC, NFPA 99, NFPA101, UL 891, UL924, UL1008, UL1741, UL1558).
• Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, specs and manuals.
• Experience with CRM, ERP, Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Receive support requests via phone, email, and website.
• Provide real-time support for installers and maintenance personnel.
• Manage support tickets using CRM/ERP tools.
• Become familiar with a broad range of Trystar products.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and engineering.
• Organize and maintain support resources and libraries.
• Coordinate with field service and remote resources for job sites.
• Occasional travel or after-hours/weekend support.
