Job summary

Trystar Inc. in Faribault, MN is seeking an Electrical Support Engineer – Critical Power Systems to serve as the technical interface between customers and Trystar.

The role requires handling support requests, troubleshooting electrical systems, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure 100% customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has a BS in Electrical Engineering (Power) with 5–10+ years in power systems, a strong knowledge of NEC/UL standards, and experience with CRM/ERP tools.

Qualifications

• BS Electrical Engineering, specialty in Power Engineering.
• 5–10+ years in power generation/critical power engineering or support for generators, renewable energy integration, power inverters and battery energy storage systems.
• Knowledge of NEC and UL standards: NFPA 110, NFPA 70/NEC, NFPA 99, NFPA101, UL 891, UL924, UL1008, UL1558, UL1741.

Responsibilities

• Receive support requests via phone, email, and website.
• Provide real-time support for installers, contractors, maintenance personnel.
• Manage support tickets utilizing SalesForce Service Cloud case management systems.
• Become familiar with a broad array of product types across Trystar’s expanding portfolio.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and Engineering for each product series.
• Assess, build, compile, and organize support library resources.
• Coordinate with, provide regular direction, and remote support to field service technicians and engineers – both direct and 3rd party resources – in preparation for and while at the job site.
• Occasional travel or after hours/weekend support required.
