Job summary

Alpine Power Systems is seeking a Critical Power Field Service Technician to service and repair battery and power systems at customer sites in Benicia, CA. This hands-on, customer-facing role involves independent field work in mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities include traveling to installations, preventive maintenance, reading schematics, documenting reports, and upholding safety policies. The ideal candidate has basic electrical/mechanical skills, a clean driving record, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer facilities primarily in Benicia, CA and surrounding area to perform service, maintenance, installation and troubleshooting.
• Install, service, maintain, and repair battery and critical power systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on existing systems/equipment.
• Troubleshoot battery systems, chargers, UPS systems, and related critical power equipment.
• Read and interpret equipment layouts, drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Safely use hand tools, power tools, meters, and testing equipment.
• Complete required service documentation/reports.
• Adhere to safety policies, PPE requirements, and customer procedures.
• Provide professional, customer-focused service and work independently at customer locations.
