Job summary

Alpine Power Systems is seeking a Critical Power Field Service Technician to join our Houston team. You will diagnose, install, service, and repair battery and power systems at customer sites, with extensive in-field training and strict safety adherence.

The role emphasizes independent work, strong customer service, and the ability to read wiring diagrams while traveling to facilities. Pre-employment screenings apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DOT Medical Card.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently at customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer facilities to evaluate equipment, identify service needs, and provide solutions.
• Install, service, maintain, and repair a variety of battery and critical power systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on existing systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot battery systems, chargers, UPS systems, and related critical power equipment.
• Read and interpret equipment layouts, drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Safely use hand tools, power tools, meters, and testing equipment.
• Accurately complete required service documentation and reports.
• Follow safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Maintain a professional, customer-focused approach at customer locations.
• Travel and work occasional overtime as needed.
