• Travel to customer facilities primarily in Benicia, CA and surrounding area to perform service, maintenance, installation and troubleshooting.
• Install, service, maintain, and repair battery and critical power systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on existing systems/equipment.
• Troubleshoot battery systems, chargers, UPS systems, and related critical power equipment.
• Read and interpret equipment layouts, drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Safely use hand tools, power tools, meters, and testing equipment.
• Complete required service documentation/reports.
• Adhere to safety policies, PPE requirements, and customer procedures.
• Provide professional, customer-focused service and work independently at customer locations.

Critical Power Field Service TechnicianBenicia, California | Field-Based PositionAlpine Power Systems, established in 1963, is a nationwide provider of critical power solutions. We specialize in backup power systems, including batteries, UPS systems, generators, power equipment, and renewable energy solutions.We are currently seeking a Critical Power Field Service Technician to support our customer locations in the Benicia, California area. This is a hands-on, customer-facing position for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working independently, and providing reliable solutions in mission-critical environments.Extensive Training & DevelopmentAt Alpine Power Systems, we invest in the development of our technicians. Our extensive training program combines classroom instruction with hands-on technical training in our dedicated training lab.
