Job summary

Compass Group USA's ESFM division seeks a Facilities Engineer to support a Class-A office tower for a financial services firm. The role focuses on mission-critical systems, preventive maintenance, and emergency response.

Responsibilities include monitoring critical assets (HVAC, generators, switchgear, ATS, UPS), coordinating with vendors for Boston and US satellite offices, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance while maintaining detailed records.

Qualifications

• Experience with preventive maintenance planning and vendor coordination.
• Certifications in electrical, instrumentation, or industrial safety may be required.
• GMP/ISO knowledge and compliance for critical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain critical assets such as UPS, switchgear, ATS, generators, and HVAC equipment to meet performance and safety requirements.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance per manufacturer guidelines and quality systems, inspections, and scheduled servicing.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment failures, documenting all work performed.
• Conduct asset criticality assessments to prioritize maintenance and downtime mitigation.
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams for Boston and US satellite offices.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and quality regulation compliance and maintain records.
• Respond to emergencies to restore operations, including power outages and cooling failures.
