Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Data Center Shift Supervisor to lead a small team of 1–4 technicians in a 24/7 facility. You will oversee electrical, mechanical, cooling, life safety, and critical power systems, ensuring safe operations and high uptime.

This role requires strong leadership and hands-on data center experience, coordinating with vendors and internal teams to complete maintenance and project work, while documenting activities in CMMS and following SOPs.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required.
• 3+ years of data center experience.
• 5-10+ years of critical environment or building engineering experience.
• Experience in operations, maintenance and/or building engineering.
• Experience using SOPs/MOPs/EOPs/MMRs.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and critical infrastructure systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Navy Nuclear experience.
• Experience with Visio and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to complete maintenance and project work safely.
• Serve as a customer-facing point of contact for colocation clients and maintain accurate operational documentation.
• Support equipment switching, operational improvements, root cause investigations, and infrastructure projects.
