The Mercyhealth transport Basic Provider (EMT) is responsible for high-quality critical care and transportation of ill or injured patients to the appropriate facilities, following Mercyhealth's guidelines. The role supports the Emergency Department with safety and record-keeping, including patient records and orders, within the hospital setting.

Shifts are 3x12-hour nights with weekend rotations. Strong emphasis on compliance, ongoing education, and interdepartmental collaboration to ensure

Formación

• Two (2) years’ experience in a busy 911 system and ALS experience preferred.
• National Registry EMT certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide pre-hospital basic life support care from contact to transfer.
• Maintain patient care documentation in TraumaSoft/Epic.
• Operate within state scope and Mercyhealth policies.
• Assist with ambulance maintenance and supplies.
• Transport non-monitored patients to in-patient units and float to affiliated facilities.
