Capital Health is seeking a dedicated CNA/UAP to support patient care in a 12-hour shift at our Pennington, NJ facility. You will assist with personal care, nutrition, documentation, and monitoring under RN guidance, including phlebotomy prep and basic vital signs.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, AHA BLS, and prior EMT/PCA or CNA-related experience. Full-time benefits and competitive pay are offered; training provided.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• One year of EMT, military medic, PCA in acute care or equivalent.
• AHA BLS certification; non-licensed must obtain before orientation end.

Responsabilidades

• Provides safety measures for patient care and responds to emergencies under supervision.
• Provides personal care including bathing, oral care, incontinence support.
• Assists with dressings, slings, and stockings under RN direction.
• Collects specimens (stool, urine, sputum) as needed.
• Records intake/output and maintains patient records accurately.
• Assists with nutrition, tube feeds, and monitoring caloric intake.
• Documents observations and notifies RN of findings.
• Assists with CPR under RN/Physician supervision.
• Performs phlebotomy tasks and glucometer testing; assists with EKGs.
• Maintains organized unit, stocks supplies, and logs medications.
• Notifies staff of any malfunctioning equipment.
