Job summary

CommonSpirit Mountain Region, St. Catherine Hospital – Dodge City, is seeking a Critical Care Tech to support the care team in a hospital setting. You will assist with patient care, IV therapy, wound care, and documentation under RN/physician supervision.

The role requires EMT/paramedic certificates and a High School Diploma or GED, with preferred 1 year healthcare experience. Schedule is PRN (variable) in a dynamic acute care environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• EMT/EMTA/EMTI/Paramedic certificates including IV therapy are required.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with RN and Physician regarding patient observations to assist treatment.
• Performs technical tasks (IV insertion, splinting, wound care) as directed by RN or physician.
• Delivers person-centered care with empathy within a collaborative team.
• Documents all tasks and observations accurately in patient records.
• Demonstrates safe clinical practices to protect patients and staff.
• Collaborates with medicine, nursing, and other healthcare professionals on the care plan.
