Job summary

MetroHealth in Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step-Down Unit (7 West). You will provide patient care in a high-acuity CCSD environment, including EKG interpretation, central line care, and respiratory support management.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for the healthcare provider.
• ACLS certification preferred or obtained within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care nursing in the CCSD unit.
• Interpret EKGs, monitor telemetry, and manage respiratory support.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, and clinicians to ensure safe care.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and time management.
