Job summary

MetroHealth is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step-Down Unit on 7 West in Ohio. The role includes caring for patients with CHF, COPD, DKA and sepsis, with a 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio and rotating shifts.

Responsibilities include EKG interpretation, central line care, and procedures; a sign-on bonus is available for eligible experience. Tuition reimbursement, certification incentives, and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current Ohio RN licensure.
• ACLS certification either current or to be obtained within 6 months.
• BSN preferred for advancement and leadership pathways.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care step-down nursing in 7 West with a 5:1 patient ratio.
• Interpret EKGs, manage central lines, and assist with bedside procedures.
• Monitor patients using telemetry, ventilators, and oxygen support.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers, and therapy teams.
