Job summary

MetroHealth in Ohio is hiring for a Critical Care Step Down RN on 7 West. This full-time role offers 72 bi-weekly hours and rotating shifts (7a-7p / 7p-7a) with rotating weekends and holidays.

A sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for qualifying experienced RNs, or $5,000 for new graduates, is available. Join the CCSD team supporting heart failure, COPD, sepsis, and other critical conditions with advanced telemetry and patient care technology.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN licensure in Ohio.
• BLS certification (within 90 days) and ACLS within 6 months.
• Experience in critical care or step-down settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Interpret EKGs and manage central lines and vents as needed.
• Assist with bedside procedures and patient safety initiatives.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegating, and time management in a fast-paced unit.
