Job summary

MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick is seeking an experienced RN to join the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) in Cleveland, Ohio. You will work a rotating shift schedule (7a-7p/7p-7a) with weekends and holidays on a rotating basis, in a 14-bed unit with enhanced technology and telemetry monitoring.

The role requires EKG interpretation, central line care, ventilator support, and bedside procedures, supported by strong critical thinking and delegation skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or a program seeking accreditation.
• Current Ohio RN licensure.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide care on the 14-bed Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Interpret EKGs, manage central lines, and assist with ventilatory support as needed.
• Assist with bedside procedures and coordinate with care teams to ensure timely patient care.
