Job summary

MetroHealth invites qualified Registered Nurses to join the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, at MetroHealth Main Campus. You will work rotating 12-hour shifts (7a-7p/7p-7a) with rotating weekends and holidays in a 14-bed unit serving congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA and sepsis patients.

Responsibilities include EKG interpretation, central line care, BiPAP and high-flow oxygen support, and bedside procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Ohio RN licensure.
• BLS certification current or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification current or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Support critical care patient population in a 14-bed step-down unit.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers, and therapists.
• Interpret ECGs and manage line care and airway support as needed.
• Assist with bedside procedures and urgent care interventions.
