Qualifications

• Three years of RN experience in critical care or emergency department.
• Current Texas RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS and PALS trainings required within 6 months of start.
• CCRN or CEN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient transfers between facilities and internal transfers.
• Facilitate prompt transfer decisions using clinical judgment to determine appropriate options.
• Serve as central communication hub for all aspects of the transfer process, including direct admissions and critical care support.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, transfer details and communications.
• Advocate for patients by considering condition, service requirements and urgency.
