Job summary

WellSpan Health is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse to deliver professional nursing care at the beginner practitioner level. The role involves acting as a primary nurse, coordinating care, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team on a night shift schedule (Friday and Saturday nights, 6:45pm–7:15am).

Qualifications include a nursing diploma or associates degree, with BSN preferred, and current RN license plus BLS.

Qualifications

• Diploma program or associate degree required to practice nursing.
• BSN preferred for advancement and leadership potential.
• Licensed Registered Nurse must be obtained upon hire.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care following the nursing process and hospital standards.
• Act as primary nurse for assigned patients on the unit.
• Coordinate care planning with interdisciplinary team.
• Safely administer prescribed medications and interventions.
• Document patient responses and progress accurately in EMR.
• Participate in performance improvement and safety initiatives.
