Job summary

A prominent organ procurement organization in Nashville is seeking an Organ Recovery Coordinator to facilitate organ donation processes. This role requires a registered nurse with critical care experience. The successful candidate will evaluate donor suitability, coordinate organ placement with transplant teams, and support donor families. Qualifications

• Two plus years prior experience in a critical care setting.
• Ability to exercise independent judgement and multitask.
• Valid Driver’s License to meet MVR underwriting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patient suitability for organ donation by reviewing medical records.
• Coordinates organ placement and allocation with transplant programs.
• Coordinates surgical recovery of organs and peri-operative management.
• Provides support to donor families and conducts medical/social history interviews.
• Other duties as assigned.
