Job summary

ChristianaCare’s Medical Intensive Care Unit is seeking a Registered Nurse for the MICU at Christiana Hospital in Maryland. The role is full-time flex (36 hrs/week) with night shift rotations, offering opportunities to work with advanced technology and a collaborative team dedicated to patient advocacy.

You will provide expert care for critically ill patients, partner with a multidisciplinary team, and use advanced monitoring strategies to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSN required (ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years).
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience required.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Partner with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions.
• Advocate for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments.
