Job summary

ChristianaCare’s Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) seeks a Registered Nurse to join the night-shift team with day rotations. This full-time flex role (36 hrs/week) places you in Christiana Hospital’s high-acuity MICU, delivering critical care and compassionate patient advocacy.

You’ll collaborate with physicians and specialists, use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies, and support families during challenging moments.

Qualifications

• BSN required; ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years.
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience required.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Partner with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions
• Advocate for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments
• Use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to achieve the best outcomes
