Atrium Health's Navicent Health Medical Center in Macon, GA, seeks an experienced RN for the Critical Care Unit (CCU). This full-time role offers 36 hours per week, with a pay range of $38.20 to $57.30 per hour, and benefits eligibility.

The CCU is a 10-bed unit focusing on critically ill adults requiring invasive monitoring or ventilation. New CCU nurses enroll in the Critical Care Academy and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in Georgia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; CCU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care using the nursing process.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, and coordinate with the care team.
• Administer medications and therapies per protocol; uphold safety culture.
• Engage patients and families, maintain accurate EHR documentation.
• Float to other units as needed to meet patient care needs.
• Maintain age-specific knowledge for diverse patient populations.
