Qualifications

Associate Degree in Nursing required.
At least 1 year of RN experience.
Registered Nurse license in TX on hire.
BLS/CPR within 14 days.
ACLS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

Uses the nursing process to provide cost-effective, quality, patient-focused care and collects social, psychological, developmental, and spiritual data.
Performs ongoing assessment, nursing diagnoses, goals, interventions, and evaluates outcomes.
Documents in patient records per health system standards to meet legal and quality requirements.
Provides teaching to patients and families on pain management, nutrition, skin integrity, fall prevention, diabetes, disease processes, smoking cessation, and discharge instructions.
