You will perform assessments, administer skilled procedures, and continually implement individualized care plans within an interdisciplinary team. A patient-first mindset and strong critical thinking are essential to thrive in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree of Nursing and at least 1 year of RN experience.
• Registered Nurse: TX, upon hire.
• Basic Life Support - CPR within 14 days.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to ensure cost-effective, quality, patient-focused care.
• Performs ongoing assessment, formulates nursing diagnoses, plans interventions, and evaluates outcomes.
• Documents in patient and unit records per health system standards to meet legal and quality requirements.
• Provides teaching to patients and families on Pain Management, Nutrition, Skin Integrity, Fall prevention, Diabetes, and discharge instructions.
• Demonstrates commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and ethical decision-making.
• Uses evidence-based interventions and collaborates with Outcomes managers and the department.
