Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates Degree of Nursing and at least one year of RN experience.
• Texas RN license required or eligible at hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification with 14-day validity.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide cost-effective, quality, patient-focused care.
• Ongoing assessment, formulate diagnoses, plan interventions, and evaluate outcomes.
• Document thoroughly in patient records to meet standards and legal requirements.
• Provide patient and family teaching on pain management, nutrition, skin integrity, fall prevention, diabetes, and discharge instructions.
• Demonstrate commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and ethical decision-making.
• Engage in research activities and collaborate with outcomes managers.
