Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate Degree in Nursing and RN experience.
• TX RN license required upon hire; CPR/BLS within 14 days.
• Preferred: BSN or higher degree.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process for patient care in a cost-conscious, quality-focused manner.
• Performs ongoing assessment, diagnoses, plan and evaluate interventions.
• Documents in patient and unit records per health system standards.
• Provides teaching to patients and families on Pain Management, Nutrition, Skin Integrity, Fall prevention, Diabetes, smoking cessation, and discharge instructions
