This 36-hour-per-week day-shift role (7am-7pm) includes weekend and holiday rotations and opportunities to grow within a mission-driven, patient-centered organization.

Qualifications

• Active Maine RN licensure or ability to obtain in a timely fashion.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and resources.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharge, and referrals.
• Provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition.
• Delegates care to ancillary personnel.
• May precept student nurses and new hires.
