• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BCLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Must assume on-call duties as scheduled.
• Positive service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Ability to provide age-appropriate care and assess patient needs across life span.
• Demonstrates growth and development knowledge for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Establishes and maintains communication with patients and families.
• Provides age-appropriate care on the unit/department.
• Collaborates with Physician on condition, orders, and treatment plan.
• Demonstrates leadership with LPNs, Nurse Aides, and Secretaries.
• Follows organizational policies for quality and compliance.
• Maintains department competencies for patient care.
