Qualifications

• RN licensure required.

• EKG interpretation skills required.

Responsibilities

• Duty 1: Self-directed and independent function in the Cath Lab.
• Duty 2: Assess, implement, and evaluate patient condition; provide nursing care.
• Duty 3: Facilitate interdisciplinary communication for procedures.
• Duty 4: Explain procedures to patient; obtain medical history relevant to procedure.
• Duty 5: Prepare procedure rooms with needed supplies; apply nursing procedures.
• Duty 6: Adhere to department policies and regulatory requirements.
