Atrium Health in Macon, GA seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist to deliver oxygen therapy, operate ventilators, and monitor patient response in the emergency and critical care settings.

You will assess therapies, document results, communicate with the care team, and ensure PHI safety while meeting licensure and BLS requirements and pursuing ongoing proficiency. BSRT preferred; two years of critical care experience for certain units.

Competenze

• Graduate of an approved school of Respiratory Therapy.
• Licensed Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support required; advanced certification per facility.

Mansioni

• Demonstrates knowledge in variations of oxygen delivery modes and equipment to achieve adequate oxygenation.
• Administers therapeutic procedures, understands purpose/benefits and potential effects; performs diagnostic procedures as per policy.
• Initiates, monitors and maintains mechanical and non-invasive ventilators; understands critical care duties and therapy effects.
• Evaluates current therapies and makes recommendations for plans of care and patient education.
• Documents therapy and results; communicates with appropriate healthcare team members.
