Job summary

Mercy in Missouri is seeking an experienced Respiratory Care Practitioner to provide direct patient care across respiratory therapies according to physician orders. You will consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness and serve as a resource for nursing teams in respiratory care.

Requirements include graduating from a CoArc approved program, an active RCP license, NBRC RRT credential, and ACLS as a preferred credential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license per state requirements.
• RRT credential from NBRC; PALS for ER staff.
• ACLS preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consults physicians on therapy effectiveness.
• Acts as advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff in respiratory care.
• Performs duties as assigned.
