Job summary

Mercy in Creve Coeur, MO is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy under physician orders. You will consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness and serve as a key resource for the care team.

The role requires graduation from a CoARC-approved Respiratory Care program, current RCP licensure, and NBRC RRT credentials; ACLS is preferred for ER staff. A 36-hour weekly shift is included with a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CoARC-approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license per state requirements.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential; ACLS preferred for ER staff.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, per physician orders.
• Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
• Performs duties as assigned.
