Job summary

Mercy in Crestwood, Missouri seeks a Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy per physician orders. The role includes consulting on therapy effectiveness and serving as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff.

Qualifications include graduation from a CoARC-approved Respiratory Care program, current RCP licensure, and NBRC RRT credential. A sign-on bonus of $10,000 is paid in four installments; typical shift is 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CoARC approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license as per state requirements.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• ER familiarity may require PALS.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consults physicians on effectiveness of respiratory therapy and adjusts treatment as needed.
• Acts as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff on respiratory care.
• Performs duties as assigned.
