Mercy in Missouri is looking for a Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy under physician orders. You will consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness and serve as an advanced resource for medical staff.

Requirements include graduation from a CoARC accredited Respiratory Care program, current RCP license, and NBRC RRT credential. ER roles may require PALS; ACLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CoARC accredited Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license per state requirements.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• PALS is required for co-workers in the Emergency Room (ER). ACLS preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing staff in respiratory care.
