Job summary

Mercy in Missouri is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy, following physician orders. You will consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness and serve as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff.

Requirements include graduation from a CoARC approved Respiratory Care program, current RCP license, NBRC RRT credential, and ACLS preferred. Physical demands include lifting and movement as described.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoARC approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• ACLS preferred; PALS for ER staff if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consult physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Serve as advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
• Perform duties as assigned.
