Qualifications

• Associate degree from a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Care program.
• No minimum experience required.
• Current NBRC-credentialed Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is required.
• Texas license as Respiratory Care Practitioner is required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care per physician orders and protocols.
• Manage ventilator care, airway management, and emergency responses.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Document care in patient records and department systems.
