UTMB Health is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner - Registered for the Galveston area. The role involves providing comprehensive respiratory care to neonatal through geriatric patients under physician orders and established protocols.

The incumbent will manage ventilator support, airway care, and participate in rounds and rapid response activities, while maintaining documentation and equipment readiness.

Qualificações

• Associate degree from a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Care program.
• Credentialed as an RRT by NBRC.
• Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the Texas Medical Board.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Preferred: PALS/NRP as required by area.

Responsabilidades

• Assess and respond to respiratory care needs of patients.
• Administer, monitor, and adjust ventilation and airway support.
• Perform blood gas analysis and respiratory function tests.
• Provide patient/family education on respiratory care.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and interdisciplinary teams.
