Universal Health Services in the United States seeks a Respiratory Therapist to perform routine and intensive respiratory therapy and diagnostic procedures. You will maintain ventilator and life-support equipment, and provide patient assessments to ensure optimal care.

The role includes performing ABGs and assisting with intubation as needed, under Texas licensure guidelines. Compliance with regulations and ongoing training are required.

Formación

• Must be licensed by the State of Texas to perform Respiratory Care and hold a temporary permit.
• Must adhere to the Compliance Program and Code of Conduct; attend required training.
• Education: High School diploma or GED confirmed.
• Completion of an accredited Respiratory Program and NBRC eligibility.
• TX RRT license; current BLS and ACLS; PALS and NRP within six months.

Responsabilidades

• Performs routine and intensive respiratory therapy and diagnostic procedures.
• Maintains respiratory equipment and ensures ventilator and life support operability.
• Provide routine respiratory patient assessments.
• Performs some invasive procedures such as ABGs and assists with intubation.
